James F. Lyon III, CFP^® 

James began his career in financial services in 1992 and formed Woodlands Wealth Builders in 2002 to provide a broader array of planning services for his clients. As owner and LPL Branch Manager of Woodlands Wealth Builders, James supervises the activities of his staff and five financial advisors.

Prior to starting his career, James earned a BS in Finance from Louisiana Tech University and an MBA with Finance emphasis from Baylor University. James earned his Certified Financial Planner designation through coursework at University of Houston.

James specializes in assisting clients in managing their wealth for their retirement and generating income during retirement. In addition, James offers comprehensive financial planning services to assist clients in all facets of planning, including college funding, insurance and estate planning, and long-term care.

Living in The Woodlands with his family since 1999, James is a member of Woodlands Church and enjoys watching his three sons compete in various sports, as well as, attending automobile shows and events.

James is a member of The Woodlands Chamber of Commerce, the Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber of Commerce and the Financial Planning Association.
